Congratulations to both of our Jazz Bands for their Straight Superior Performances at the District Jazz MPA this past Thursday!! Also, a Big Congrats to the Concert Jazz Band for their top 3 finish at the Essentially Ellington Contest last Monday in Orlando!!!
Our Pre-MPA Concert for all of our Concert Bands is this Wednesday Night. Hope to see you there!!!

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
ALL-COUNTY MS & HS JAZZ BAND WILL BE HOSTED AT MAS:
The All-County MS & HS Jazz Bands will be hosted at MAS Feb 24th and 25th, from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM,
PRE-MPA CONCERT FOR ALL CONCERT BANDS (CB, SB, and WS): Our Pre-MPA Concert is this Wednesday, Feb 26th, at 7:00 PM, in the PAC. (Report Time is 5:30 PM for ALL Concert Bands)
March 5th, SB and WS, District Concert MPA
MAS RITMO TO PERFORM AT CARNIVAL ON THE MILE:
Sunday, March 2nd, Performance at Carnival on the Mile!!!
(Report Time is 9:00 AM and we Perform at 1:00 PM)
DISTRICT CONCERT MPA FOR SYMPHONIC BAND and WIND SYMPHONY is WED., MARCH 5: District Concert MPA is Wednesday, March 5th, from 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM. The MPA will be at Hialeah Gardens HS and Performance Times are as follows:
Symphonic Band performs at 4:15 PM
Wind Symphony performs at 7:15 PM.

PARENTS - BECOME A CHAPERONE/VOLUNTEER:
Please try and become a Chaperone/Volunteer on the parent portal. Go to www.dadeschools.net to register. We need parents that are cleared for both Level 1 (In county & Non overnight) and Level 2 (Overnight and everywhere). -For Level 1, you fill out on the portal and it takes about 10 min. Then after you register, you bring in your license to the school to complete the process.
-For Level 2, Do the same process and select level 2. Then go to school to show your license and get the letter for your fingerprinting appointment. At this time of the year it is very quick.

MAS Ritmo performance at Canival on the mile.
9:00 AM Report time at MAS for MAS Ritmo.
Performance is at 1pm. The performance is on the Ponce stage and Miracle Mile. It is a Free performance and street vendors selling food.
